Step by Step, Mile by Mile

I felt this post was most fitting to write, 33,000 feet up in the air. I am on my way to my last recruiting trip with my job for a long time. I have been staring out the window thinking, contemplating, praying, dreaming, longing and also going through my to do list in my mind.
Our house is in a great amount of turmoil at this point with everything going on. We have construction going on getting ready for Hosanna, lots of painting, cleaning, paperwork, piles beginning to grow that will have to go to China…. Needless to say lots happening.
At this point we do not have a travel date. We are expecting to get one in the next couple of weeks, which will give us a three week window to pull all the final pieces together. We got an email last night with a list of documents and things that we need to bring to China. I think I counted about 15 bullet points of items we need to pull together.
We are waiting on word that her visa approval has happened. This is the last “approval” we need in order to get her home. Then everything goes back to China and we wait for a travel date. We have found out that some fees have gone up subsequently making our in country costs just a little bit higher.
So here is the crazy ask, WE NEED YOUR MILES. Each round trip is about 70,000 miles. We have three adults that will be going which would be 210,000. Even to get one round trip or two covered would allow us to be fully funded.
If you have airline Sky miles that you are willing to donate, please email me at thebowdens2009@gmail.com. Please pass this on, it is an easy and painless way to help us get Hosanna home.

Furiously working as we stare at the finish line,
Jennifer
